Transfer Pricing & Value Chain Specialist, Brett Norwood, returns to the the US from China
Brett Norwood, a highly-regarded tax partner with KPMG, is best known as a leading force in the Asia Transfer Pricing space. Having spent the last 10 years in Beijing and Shanghai, he has now relocated (home) to Philadelphia. He has moved internally with KPMG and now holds the title Tax Managing Director.
Mr Norwood has a Ph.D in Economics and was Assistant Professor at The University of Hong Kong before embarking on a tax career in 2005. He started his training with Deloitte in New York, relocating internally to Beijing after 2 years. Mr Norwood was a fast-track partner (he made it in less than 8 years with Deloitte, quite extraordinary).
In 2013 he moved to KPMG in Shanghai as a partner. During this period he worked closely with the global leader of KPMG’s Value Chain Management (VCM) practice to meet the growing demand from multinational clients for cross-functional VCM services.
