Anthony Taranto is new Global Head of Tax at Convergex
Convergex, an agency-focused global brokerage and trading related services provider, has announced that Anthony Taranto has joined as Managing Director and Head of Global Taxes.
In this new position, Anthony is responsible for overseeing Convergex’s tax functions, global tax planning and compliance requirements. In addition, he will drive the firm’s global tax strategies to further support Convergex’s financial and strategic objectives. Anthony will report to Frederick Arnold, Convergex’s Chief Financial Officer.

Anthony Taranto joins Convergex with over 25 years of experience in tax and accounting best practices in the financial services industry. He most recently served as Managing Director, Head of Tax, at Neuberger Berman and was previously a Managing Director, Co-Global Head of Tax for Lehman Brothers. Anthony currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Wall Street Tax Association. A licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Anthony earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting from Fordham University and his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from New York University.
