Michael Flaherty and Lee Bijoux join the private client partner team at BDO
BDO LLP has appointed Michael Flaherty as a tax partner in its Private Client team.
Based in Guildford, his role is to further develop bespoke private client taxation services for clients across the South, in London and overseas. Michael brings with him 20 years of private client experience having worked for two Big Four accountancy firms and global banks in London, Cayman and Jersey. He joins from RSM (legacy Baker Tilly) where he a Tax Director.
Michael specialises in the provision of tax advice to high net worth individuals (HNWIs), families, trustees and companies, including many with international private wealth aspects to consider.
Michael’s appointment follows the announcement of the promotion to partner of Lee Bijoux in BDO’s Private Client team, based in London. Lee joined BDO in 2012 as a director, having trained with Deloitte. He specialises in international private client tax, advising wealthy individuals with complex affairs, and has significant expertise in residence, domicile and trust matters.
