Highly-regarded tax lawyer, Sarah Priestley, joins Goodwin Proctor to bolster its private equity practice.
Sarah Priestley, formerly Head of Tax at Shearman & Sterling in London, is joining Goodwin Proctor.
Ms Priestley was building the international private equity practice at Shearmans, working alongside Jeremy Dickens, Mark Soundy and Simon Burrows. Mr Soundy is also moving to Goodwin Proctor.
Ms Priestley started her career with Allen & Overy where she focussed on tax and incentivisation. In 1997 she moved to Weil Gotshal and Manges, specialising in the corporate tax law aspects of private equity and restructuring transactions. She joined Shearman & Sterling in 2013.
