James Lelko joins Andersen Tax in Chicago
Andersen Tax has announced the addition of James Lelko as a Managing Director in the Chicago office.
He will be part of the firm’s Alternative Investment Funds Practice. James has over 28 years of experience and specializes in tax consulting and compliance services for private equity and venture capital firms, hedge funds, investment advisors, and broker-dealers.
“James’ background in the asset management industry will help bring diversity to the offerings we can provide in Chicago as well as nationally,” said Chicago Office Managing Director, Kevin Burns. “His ability to navigate complexity and simplify business discussions will be a great benefit to our clients and I look forward to having him join the team.”

Prior to joining Andersen Tax, James worked at PwC, where he was a Client Service Partner and advised a wide variety of asset managers on tax and business issues on both domestic and international clients. Before that, James was part of Deloitte in Boston, where he worked in the financial services industry and primarily advised mutual fund advisors.

James received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Cleveland State University and his Master of Science in Taxation from Northeastern University.
