Bradley Richard Thompson joins BDO Canada from Air Canada

BDO Canada has recruited Bradley Richard Thompson as the US Corporate Tax Leader for the Montreal office.

Brad provides US corporate income tax advice to Canadian businesses with US operations and to their US subsidiaries. He has extensive experience with complex corporate transactions in the cross-border (Canada-US) context such as M&A transactions, financings, and joint venture structuring. Brad has advised clients in a wide range of industries, including real estate, technology, manufacturing, and private equity. Brad also manages the US corporate tax compliance for Montréal clients.

For the past 6 months Brad has been Director of Tax Planning at Air Canada. Prior to that he was a Tax Partner at MNP. He trained as a tax lawyer with Shearman & Sterling in New York.
