Moores Rowland Monaco hires private client tax lawyer Frederic Mege

On 1 January 2018, Frederic Mege, a dual-qualified French and English private client lawyer, joined Moores Rowland, an independent firm based in Monaco.

A member of the Paris Bar Association, the Institut des Avocats Conseils Fiscaux (IACF), the Law Society (England & Wales) and the Society for Tax and Estate Practitioners (STEP), Frederic has many years’ experience advising international private clients on personal tax and other legal issues.

Commenting on the appointment, Eamonn McGregor, Managing Director and International Tax Specialist at Moores Rowland, said:

“Moores Rowland specialises in cross-border tax planning, and has for many years advised clients on French inbound tax planning. Due to specialisation in this area, Frederic represents an important addition to the team.”

Frederic began his career with Arthur Andersen in Paris. He then moved to London and worked at BDO Stoy Hayward LLP and Grant Thornton LLP in their private client tax departments. He joins from Gowling WLG, where he was a partner.

He has a Law degree from the University of Aix-en-Provence, where he also lectured on French and international tax and estate planning. He is recommended by Chambers & Partners Global and Europe, Legal 500, Citywealth Leaders List, and Décideurs Juridiques.
