Orrick promotes Wolfram Pohl to tax partner

Orrick has announced the promotion of 19 lawyers to the firm’s partnership, effective January 1, 2018. Only one tax partner has been made up: 

Wolfram Pohl is a member of the firm’s Tax Group in San Francisco. He works closely with Orrick’s energy and infrastructure teams in structuring and negotiating transactions to take advantage of tax credits, Treasury cash grants, depreciation and other benefits. Wolf also counsels on a variety of tax issues, including equity and debt financings, municipal finance, M&A, public offerings and real estate transactions. He earned his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, and his B.E. in mechanical engineering from McGill University.
