Alvaro Burgos Martinez joins Canadian Solar as Head of Tax EMEA & LATAM

Canadian Solar has recruited Alvaro Burgos Martinez as Head of Tax for its EMEA and LATAM regions. Mr Martinez will be based in Milan and report to Todd Wang, VP Global Taxes.

Prior to joining this month, Alvaro Burgos Martinez was with AP Moller – Maersk in Madrid, where he was Head of Tax for the Mediterranean region. He has extensive commercial tax experience gained at LG Electronics and PerkinElmer. He is a qualified tax lawyer, having originally trained with Cuatrecasas and DLA, both in Madrid.
