Grant Thornton UK LLP has appointed Nick Foster-Taylor as Partner in its Transfer Pricing team.
Nick Foster-Taylor has joined Grant Thornton’s growing tax practice as a partner specialising in international transfer pricing. With over 20 years’ experience in UK and global markets and extensive knowledge of operational restructuring and planning, Nick’s skillset will prove immensely valuable in strengthening the firm’s growing service offering. Nick previously headed up teams at leading consultancies and professional services firms.
In his new role, Nick will utilise his unique transfer pricing expertise combining tax, legal and commercial perspectives gained by having both worked in-practice and in-house. Nick’s focus points include M&A transfer pricing, operational planning and redomestication for Brexit and UK and European tax audit defence, amongst other skills.
On his appointment, Nick commented: “It’s great to be part of the highly regarded team here at Grant Thornton. Transfer pricing remains a huge operational and technical challenge for multinationals, and continuing changes to the economic and political landscape mean that global business structures and profit allocations are under intense scrutiny. We are uniquely placed to assist our clients by providing a fully integrated multi-jurisdictional service, providing the independent and objective perspective that is now critical in underpinning any commercial and tax advice.”
Wendy Nicholls, Partner and Head of Transfer Pricing, added: “I am delighted to welcome Nick to the team at a time of rapid growth for our Transfer Pricing services. His unique knowledge will enable us to further strengthen our transfer pricing framework which helps organisations overcome increasingly sophisticated challenges and respond to opportunities in this fast-changing environment.”
