New tax hires at KPMG USA
KPMG in the US has announced a number of recent senior tax hires:
J. Anthony ‘Tony’ Coughlan joins KPMG’s Washington National Tax practice as a managing director. Most recently, he served as senior tax counsel in the Senate Finance Committee where he played a significant role in the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017. Prior to his time in government, Tony served as international tax director at Oracle Corp. and worked in PwC’s Hong Kong office and Washington National Tax Service.
Simona Vasile joins KPMG as a managing director in its Global Mobility Services (GMS) practice. She joins from PwC where she was a director responsible for U.S. individual income tax compliance issues for foreign national and expatriate employees.
Erinn Madden joins KPMG as a managing director in its Washing National Tax compensation and Benefits group. She joins from Deloitte’s Washington National Tax practice where she focused on compensation and benefits as well as global equity issues.
Sri Nagarajan joins KPMG as a principal in its Economic and Valuation Services practice based in Silicon Valley. She joins from Baker McKenzie where she advised multinational companies on various aspects of transfer pricing.
Gina DeConcini joins KPMG’s State and Local Tax (SALT) practice as a managing director based in Minneapolis. She has 25 years of broad-based tax experience in the Minneapolis market in such areas as multistate and international tax planning, mergers and acquisitions, and business development.
Kathy Lo joins KPMG as a principal in its Global Reward Services practice based in San Francisco. Lo joins KPMG from Deloitte, where she served as a principal in its tax practice.
