KPMG International appoints Lachlan Wolfers Global Head of Indirect Taxes

Lachlan Wolfers has been promoted to Global Head of Indirect Taxes at KPMG International, with effect from June 2019.

Mr Wolfers is currently based in Hong Kong, having relocated there in 2011 as a secondee from KPMG Australia.

He has held several leadership roles at the Firm. In Australia he was Head of Indirect Tax in Sydney and the National Head of Tax Controversy Services for KPMG Tax Lawyers Pty Ltd. In China he was Head of Indirect Tax and also the Asia Pacific Regional Leader for Indirect Tax Services.

More recently he took on the roles of Head of Legal and Head of Tax Technology for KPMG China.
