KPMG in the US has announced a number of new tax hires:

Michelle Dohra joins KPMG’s State and Local Tax (SALT) practice as a managing director. Most recently, she served as the Real Estate counsel for Mayer Brown LLP, where she specialized in real estate transfer tax.

 Matt O’Holloran joins KPMG as a principal in its International Tax practice. He joins from General Electric where he served as senior international tax counsel for its Power and Renewables business units.

 Brett Fieldston joins KPMG as a principal in its International Tax practice. He joins from Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, where he served alternative investment fund management companies and investment fund complexes. Previously an associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP. 

Kevin Tom joins KPMG’s Economic and Valuation Services (EVS) practice as a principal based in New York, and has over 25 years of business valuation, transactional, and financial analysis experience.

Ron-zeev “Ron” Elkounovitch joins KPMG as a principal in its Economic & Valuation Services (EVS) practice. He has over 15 years of valuation and risk management experience. He joins KPMG from EY, where he was a senior manager.

Louis “Lou” Palladino joins KPMG as a managing director in its State and Local Tax (SALT) practice, based in New York. He joins from Morgan Stanley, where he was a managing director and head of SALT.

Marion Acord joins KPMG as a managing director in its State and Local Tax (SALT) practice, based in Atlanta. Most recently, she served as a director in the Unclaimed Property practice of Ryan LLC.

Ryan Burns joins KPMG’s Business Tax Services (BTS) practice as a managing director in the San Francisco office. Before joining KPMG, he was a senior manager at EY.

Eric M. Janowak joins KPMG as a managing director in its Business Tax Services Institutional Investor group and is based in Abu Dhabi. He has more than 13 years of sovereign wealth, asset management, and Big Four experience in the U.S., the U.K., and the Middle East.

Bradford Humphrey has rejoined KPMG as a managing director in its Value Chain Management (VCM) practice. He joins from Aptiv where he assisted with transfer pricing policies and management of the global tax reporting processes.

Justin Hill joins KPMG’s Washington National Tax’s SALT Income & Incentives group as a partner in the Dallas office. Before joining KPMG, he was a partner at EY.
