Charterhouse Capital Partners has recruited Michael McCotter as Head of Tax, with effect from September 2019.

Mr McCotter joins from DH Private Equity Partners where he has been Head of Tax for the past 18 years. He is Tax Committee Member & Chair of the Personal Tax Sub Committee at the British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association.

Charterhouse is one of the longest established private equity firms operating in Europe. The firm invests in companies headquartered in Western Europe and works closely with incumbent management teams, backing them and providing active support to drive growth.  Charterhouse pursues a highly selective investment approach, partnering with a small number of high-quality companies. Transaction values range from €200 million to €1.5 billion.
