UHY Hacker Young recruits Helen Cowley in Manchester
UHY Hacker Young has announced the appointment of Helen Cowley a new tax partner within the Manchester office.
Helen joins UHY from national accountancy practice Baldwins (formerly North West based accountants Cassons) where she spent seven years working closely with owner-managed businesses, independent professionals, and global accountants and business advisors. She started her career in finance within industry, and joined the accountancy profession in 2003. Helen has since specialised in tax.

She has a particular interest in assisting clients to enter new global markets from both a tax and practical perspective, and focuses on providing international tax services for both outward and inward trade and investment.

Of her appointment, Helen said: “UHY’s Manchester team is highly regarded, known for providing valuable advice to clients. I’m excited to be working with such a well-respected team across the region, and I look forward to being involved in a diverse range of projects. The decision to join the firm was instinctive for me.”
