Wendy P. Rowls joins KPMG’s Business Tax Services practice’s ASC 740 Center of Excellence as a managing director in the New York office. She has more than 25 years of tax compliance and tax planning services experience.
Kate Law joins KPMG’s State and Local Tax practice as a principal, based in the firm’s San Francisco office. Previously she served as a partner in the Indirect Tax practice of KPMG Australia, specializing in VAT.
Aaron Shafer joins KPMG’s State and Local Tax (SALT) practice as a managing director based in New York. He has over 20 years of SALT compliance experience.
Daniel DeRocco joins KPMG’s Ignition Tax Data & Analytics practice as a managing director based in Milwaukee. Most recently, he served as president and CEO of the tax integration and tax data warehouse design company at Datanoi, Inc.
George Hayes joins KPMG as a partner in its Tax Asset Management practice in San Francisco. He joins from another Big Four firm, where he was a member of its New York Real Estate Tax practice for a decade.
Brett Thompson joins KPMG as a principal in its Economic and Valuation Services practice based in New York. He joins from EY where he served as a principal in its Transaction Advisory Services group.
Gary Price joins KPMG in the firm’s Business Tax Services Family Office practice as a principal, based in Atlanta. He has more than 30 years of experience in tax, finance, treasury, and accounting. He joins KPMG from Georgia Pacific LLC, where he served as vice president of tax.
Jay Carreno joins KPMG’s Business Tax Services (BTS) practice as a managing director based in Miami. He joins from EY’s global tax compliance and reporting organization, where he developed deep experience in federal tax matters.
Rose Jenkins joins KPMG as a managing director in its Washington National Tax’s International Tax group, based in Washington, D.C. She joins from the Internal Revenue Service, where she worked most recently as special counsel in their office of the Associate Chief Counsel – International.
