DLA Piper Australia recruits tax disputes partner Paul McNab from PwC
Global law firm DLA Piper has announced that leading tax disputes partner Paul McNab and litigation lawyer John Fogarty will be joining the firm in May.
Paul has more than 30 years’ experience in tax dispute resolution, particularly tax litigation. He will be joining DLA Piper from PwC’s Tax Controversy & Dispute Resolution group, where he has been a partner for over 20 years. During his time at PwC, Paul built a highly successful tax controversy and litigation practice, advising a range of international and Australian public and private companies, including a number of US clients with significant operations in Australia.
Prior to PwC, Paul worked at the Australian Taxation Office for eight years, where his work included a number of high-profile audits and the management of the resulting litigation and settlements. Paul will be based in Sydney.
