Costa Koutsis joins Ashurst’s Sydney tax team

Ashurst has appointed Costa Koutsis as a partner in its Sydney tax practice.

Costa is an indirect tax specialist. He is highly experienced in advising on the stamp duty, GST and land tax implications of complex transactions as well as engaging with revenue authorities. His experience stretches across a variety of transactions and industries including domestic and cross border mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings, privatisations, restructures and property investment transactions.

Costa joins from PwC where he was a partner for more than 10 years and the head of its national stamp duty practice. Prior to joining PwC, Costa was a partner at Baker & McKenzie.
