2 new tax partners at Crowe

 In Crowe

Crowe has announced the appointment of six new partners, effective from 1 April 2022.

Andrew Hawley has been promoted to partner in the Corporate Tax team in the Thames Valley office.

Andrew has more than 18 years’ tax experience and his interest and ongoing focus is on supporting large and international corporates; advising them on many aspects of their corporate tax affairs in both advisory and compliance. He frequently works with the Crowe Global network to help complex cross-border businesses realise their objectives, from overcoming challenges on withholding tax and company residency to restructuring operations and eliminating intercompany debt.

Andrew is also a member of Crowe’s Innovations (R&D) and Retail sector teams and has experience of working with clients across a variety of industries including, technology, retail, publishing, and leisure and tourism.

Andrew’s promotion comes at a time when tax is an increasingly global issue against the backdrop of OECD-led international reform as well as international challenges, such as the COVID-19 crisis. Aside from his ability to provide holistic advice to multinational clients, he has an ongoing interest and focus on assisting clients in adapting to the way technology is taking a more prevalent role in the delivery and management of tax services.

Trevor Ling has been recruited as a partner within the Corporate Tax team in London. Trevor brings extensive tax expertise of more than 20 years, built up both in a consultancy environment and previous roles leading the in-house tax teams at FTSE-listed companies. He was previously a tax director at Grant Thornton.
