Jim Jones joins Weaver’s tax practice in Houston
Weaver, the largest independent accounting firm in the Southwest with nine offices across the United States, has announced that Jim Jones, JD joined the firm’s Houston office as a partner in tax and strategic business services, and Rebekah Reeder, CPA was promoted to assurance partner in the Fort Worth office.

Jim Jones joins Weaver with more than 20 years of public accounting tax experience including corporate restructurings, tax compliance and corporate tax planning. He has worked with companies in the oilfield services, telecommunications, midstream energy services and retail, manufacturing and distribution industries. Jones is a member of the Louisiana Bar Association. He earned a Juris Doctorate degree from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
