Dentons promotes six within its Europe Tax practice
Dentons has announced the promotion of one partner, two managing counsel and three counsel within its Europe Tax practice.
These promotions reflect the development and growth of the Tax practice, which is among the fastest growing in Europe. With 90 lawyers and professionals in 12 jurisdictions, the Tax practice is now Dentons’ fourth largest practice group within continental Europe.

Promotion to Partner:
Thomas Voss is partner in the firm´s Frankfurt office. He specializes in international tax law and focuses primarily on advising multinational companies and investors as well as open and closed-ended funds on international transactions, in particular in the real estate and energy sectors, as well as on strategic investments. He also advises Insurers as to W&I and special tax risk policies. Thomas is a lawyer admitted to the German Bar and a certified tax advisor, and holds a MBA.
Promotions to Managing Counsel:
Jean-Dominique Morelli is a managing counsel in Dentons’ Luxembourg office. He focuses on international corporate taxation and mainly advises on cross-border transactions, local real estate deals, mergers & acquisitions, project financing, structured finance, securitizations, corporate restructuring, investment funds and intellectual property.
Christine Ntumba is a managing counsel in Luxembourg. She focuses on Luxembourg direct tax and has strong experience in tax compliance. Christine advises on tax aspects of cross-border transactions involving international financial groups and multinational companies, including investment funds and management/advisory companies of funds, insurance companies, banks, holding companies and private equity structures.
Promotions to Counsel:
Luca Guidotti is a counsel in Milan. He advises on the taxation of the transaction involving investment funds and real estate companies, international taxation and planning in regards of both individuals and companies; tax litigation; tax planning of HNWI, tax issues arising from Management of incentive plans.
Valentin Larin is a counsel in the Tax practice of the firm´s Moscow office. He specializes in the Russian direct and indirect taxation with the main focus on such areas as real estate, retail and automotive industry. He also supports foreign e-services providers in the VAT registration and compliance procedures recently enacted in Russia. Valentin provides advisory services and practices a lot as a tax litigator representing the interests of the clients at the pre-trial and court stages of the tax disputes.
Ngoc-My Nguyen is a counsel in the Tax practice in Luxembourg. She focuses on indirect tax planning and advises local and multinational companies on VAT matters and compliance projects. She has broad experience in key areas including financial transactions involving banks, SOPARFIS, investment funds and real estate companies. She also advises clients in the retail and telecommunication sectors.
