Bram Linnartz and Thierry Charon appointed to Executive Board at Loyens & Loeff
Loyens & Loeff has announced that Bram Linnartz and Thierry Charon have been appointed as members of the Executive Board. Bram Linnartz, attorney at law, has been voted Managing Partner. They succeed Marieke Bakker and Gert-Wim van de Meent, who will resume their roles as partners in the international tax practice group and the competition & regulatory practice group, respectively.

Bram Linnartz (1969), attorney at law, is a member of the Real Estate Practice. Previously he held the position of Chairman of the Board of Loyens & Loeff. He is a senior lecturer at the University of Amsterdam (School of Real Estate), a fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, and an alumnus of the INSEAD Advanced Management Programme.
Thierry Charon (1962), tax adviser, is co-head of Loyens & Loeff’s VAT, Customs & International Trade Practice Group in the Benelux. He divides his time between Loyens & Loeff’s Belgian and Luxembourg offices. Thierry is a Lecturer in VAT law at the HUB (Hogeschool – Universiteit Brussel), the Chairman of the European VAT Club and a member of the VAT Expert Group of the European Commission.
