UHY Hacker Young expands R&D tax practice in London with new partner hire
UHY Hacker Young, the national accountancy group, has appointed Kevin Edwards as R&D tax partner in its London office.
Kevin brings almost 20 years of experience working within R&D tax credits to UHY Hacker Young. He joins from East Midlands firm Duncan & Toplis, having previously worked at Top 15 firms RSM and MHA MacIntyre Hudson. He is a member of HMRC’s R&D Consultative Committee and has presented to the Chartered Institute of Tax on R&D tax credits.
He advises on large and complex R&D tax credit claims in virtually every sector, including construction, pharmaceuticals, engineering, advanced manufacturing, and software.
Advising clients on successful R&D tax credit claims is among UHY Hacker Young’s specialisms, with teams in both London and Manchester focused on maximising claims.
