Sardou, former EY Paris Transfer Pricing Guru, decides to join Taj
Sabine Sardou has joined the leading French law firm, Taj, a member of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu as a partner in Taj’s transfer pricing practice.
Sabine was formerly with Ernst & Young jurididique et fiscal, where she participated in the development and management of the Paris transfer pricing group for 7 years. She started her career in 1996 at the Paris office of PwC, Landwell.
This hiring follows the announcement in February that Jean-Claude Bouchard had joined the firm as a partner from CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre, where he was in charge of the VAT department. A respected VAT specialist (President of the French VAT Practitioners Association (APTE), President of the European VAT Club and of the International VAT Association (IVA)), Jean-Claude has had a major influence on the definitive VAT regime chosen by the European Commission. Through his actions in the European courts, he has also had a major impact on VAT case law.
A member of the Bar Council, Jean-Claude also teaches part of the Masters in Tax Law at the University of Paris II and lectures at the Universities of Aix, Montpellier and Dijon.
