Valuation Supremo Robert McDonald joins Duff & Phelps from PwC
Robert McDonald has joined the Boston office of Duff & Phelps as a Managing Director in the Fixed Asset and Real Estate Consulting practice. Mr. McDonald joins from PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he was a Partner and Regional Practice Leader of the Tax Projects Delivery Group, specializing in valuation consulting and cost segregation services. Mr. McDonald has more than 23 years of experience in appraisal and valuation, which includes directing the largest reappraisal of real and personal property in New England as the Director of Valuation for the City of Boston Assessing Department. He has personally valued more than 6 billion dollars worth of residential, commercial and industrial property; has testified as an expert witness in numerous cases; has provided property tax administration in 21 states and has directed multiple appraisal, property tax consulting and cost segregation projects on all types of property. Mr. McDonald is a State Certified Licensed General Appraiser in New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts and is a Massachusetts Accredited Assessor.
This is the 4th senior hire by Duff & Phelps this year. In March 2006 they announced that Michael Press, Tab Weaver and Dean Price joined the company’s Tax Valuation & Consulting Practice in the areas of business incentives, property tax and valuation.
