Mark Rennison new Group Finance Director at Nationwide

Nationwide Building Society has announced that Mark Rennison is joining its Board as group finance director. His appointment takes effect from 1 February 2007, when he will take over from Graham Beale, who becomes Nationwide’s chief executive on 1 April 2007.

Mark has spent his career to date with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. He joined the firm in 1981 and has specialised in financial services with a specific focus on retail and corporate banking. He has also worked extensively with group treasury operations and leasing & asset finance businesses. He was admitted to the partnership of the firm in 1995.

Graham Beale, Nationwide’s current group finance director and chief executive designate, said: “Mark has a wealth of financial services experience and will be a strong addition to the Board. I am sure that his contribution will be of great value to Nationwide and to our members.”
