Partnership appointment for Sean Wakeman at Horwath Clark Whitehill
Sean Wakeman, formerly National Director of Tax Investigations at Horwath Clark Whitehill (HCW) has been promoted to partner, effective from 1 October. This brings the total number of partners to 67.
Sean joined the firm in May 2006 and has specialised in all aspects of tax investigations and compliance matters, negotiating settlements with HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) and working in conjunction with the legal profession on cases involving serious fraud and potential prosecution.
Prior to joining HCW, Sean was a member of HMRC’s Special Civil Investigations team. He left in 1995 with eight years of tax investigations experience and has now acted in defence of clients for the last 12 years. He was formerly partner-in-charge of tax investigations at another top 20 firm. Sean is based at HCW’s London office.
