BMR Advisors makes up 2 new tax partners

BMR Advisors, a leading professional services firm in India, today announced an expansion of its partnership with the admission of two new tax partners effective April 1, 2013. Following these admissions, the partnership will comprise 30 partners.

Kalpesh Desai

Kalpesh is based out of Mumbai office and works in the area of corporate tax and restructuring. His focus is in advising clients on complex restructuring engagements in the area of financial services, private equity and offshore/domestic funds. He brings valuable experience and knowledge across tax, exchange controls and capital markets regulations. Kalpesh is a Chartered Accountant and joined the firm in early part of 2005.

Sanjiv Malhotra

Sanjiv is based out of our New Delhi/Gurgaon office and works in the area of Direct Tax with specialization in Transfer Pricing. Sanjiv has extensive experience in Transfer Pricing advisory, supply chain and disputes resolution. He has played an instrumental role in building the firm’s Transfer Pricing practice. Sanjiv joined the firm in early part of 2006 from KPMG. He is a Chartered Accountant and post graduate in Business Economics.
