Menzies hires tax lawyer Philip Alfandary to develop Private Client Services
Menzies accountants has appointed Philip Alfandary as associate director in its tax team. He has practised as a solicitor specialising in taxation for nearly 20 years and his priority will be to further develop the firm’s private client services, which cover areas including trusts and estates, inheritance tax and retirement planning.
Philip previously worked for national law firm TLT, where he was a partner and head of corporate tax. More recently he was at Kerman & Co. He is a member of the stamp taxes practitioners group and serves on the Law Society’s VAT and duties committee.
Linda Richardson, partner at Menzies LLP, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Philip as part of our growing team of tax specialists.
