OECD looking for a new Head of TP as Joe Andrus completes his term
Spotted a new role on the OECD Careers site today. If you think you can fill Joe Andrus’ shoes then read on. However, salary seems pretty low for such a senior post – EUR 93,600 (tax free) per year. I guess the attractiveness will depend on how how heavily taxed you are at the moment ! Joe Andrus had retired from the PwC US partnership (2009) when he took up the post. https://oecd.taleo.net/careersection/ext/jobdetail.ftl
The CTPA is looking for a highly qualified and dynamic transfer pricing expert to head its Transfer Pricing Unit. Transfer pricing issues form a major part of the BEPS action plan, which reflects that transfer pricing is one of the top challenges in the international tax field. The successful candidate will provide technical expertise and strategic guidance in further developing the OECD’s work in this area, both from a policy and tax administration perspective. Current work is mainly driven by the BEPS action plan and the commitment in this plan to develop measures that will assure that transfer pricing outcomes are in line with value creation. In addition to this, an important part of the work is targeted at strengthening the dialogue with non-OECD economies in the transfer pricing area and contributing to the work on tax and development.
The successful applicant will work under the supervision of the Head of the Tax Treaty, Transfer Pricing and Financial Transactions Division of the CTPA.
Found this video interview of Joe Andrus. Interviewer is Diane Hay (Special Advisor at PwC and formerly Deputy Director at HMRC).
