Eversheds Sutherland recruits Paul Beausang as Head of Real Estate Tax
Eversheds Sutherland has further strengthened its Tax Practice with the appointment of Partner Paul Beausang as Head of Real Estate Tax. Paul will work alongside David Jervis, Global Co-Head of Tax and Cathryn Vanderspar, Head of London Tax in the real estate tax arena.
Paul joins Eversheds Sutherland this week from Morgan Lewis & Bockius, having previously been London Head of Tax at K&L Gates.
Paul is highly experienced in real estate tax structuring and transactional execution; his expertise will enhance tax support for the Real Estate Practice in delivering high-end tax structuring and transaction advice to real estate clients
Additionally Paul’s practice includes corporate tax and inward investment and permanent establishment issues, debt financing and structuring, and M&A tax negotiations. Since 2013, he has advised in the structured transactions market and has been at the forefront of the tax structuring of several bespoke RMBS structures and the intersection of real estate and hybrid bond structuring.
