Graeme Webster moves from HMRC to KPMG’s FS TP team
KPMG has announced a senior appointment to its corporate tax practice as the firm targets further growth for its national transfer pricing team.
Graeme Webster joins as a Director within its Financial Services transfer pricing team. Prior to taking on his new role at KPMG, Graeme spent 17 years at HM Revenue & Customs and specialised in international tax over the past decade.
His appointment follows senior promotions within the team, including Richard Murray to Partner and Robin Saunders to Director.
KPMG’s Financial Services transfer pricing team comprises six senior-level (Partner and Director) executives with a broad variety of skills and experience. At a national level, the transfer pricing team has a total of 146 staff, which includes the firm’s tax centre of excellence in Birmingham.
Daniel Head, Partner and Head of Transfer Pricing at KPMG in the UK, said:
“As the tax landscape changes, transfer pricing is becoming an increasingly complex environment for financial services firms to navigate. Our corporate tax team is expanding to answer growing demand for experience and advice in this field as multinational corporations adapt to changes to the OECD’s Transfer Pricing Guidelines. Graeme’s extensive knowledge will be a valuable asset to our clients and to our 146-strong team across the UK.”
