KPMG Bahamas appoints Tomas Machado as Head of International Tax
KPMG Bahamas has appointed Tomas Machado as Head of International Tax.
Tomas joins from KPMG Jersey and has been with the Firm since 2013.
He focuses predominantly on corporate, international and transactional tax matters. Tomás has managed various inbound and outbound investment projects, managing the tax traits of cross-border transactions, corporate reorganizations and tax litigation with the Tax Authorities. He has been a major contributor in building the firm’s tax technology solutions, most notably as global business sponsor to the KPMG Economic Substance Tool and eTax portal.
Tomas holds a Bachelor of Laws, and the Advanced Diploma in International Tax of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, having specialised in EU Tax, International Tax and Transfer Pricing.
