Deloitte hires new tax and asset pooling specialist from EY

[private]Deloitte, the business advisory firm, has announced the appointment of a new partner, Ali Kazimi to its funds advisory team. Ali, formerly the head of investment and operational taxes at Ernst & Young, will be leading Deloitte’s asset pooling offering.

Ali, a senior tax professional has over 15 years experience in the financial services industry, including seven years at Barclays Global Investors. Ali specialises in pension and asset pooling, securities lending, as well as tax offerings for pension and sovereign wealth funds.
