Former PwC Tax Partner joins Nexsen Pruet
Prior to joining Nexsen Pruet Lyerly was a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Charlotte. During his 20 years with that firm he advised high-net-worth clients on matters related to taxation, estate planning, wealth transfer and charitable giving.

Lyerly is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association and the Mecklenburg County Bar. He is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the North Carolina Association of CPAs as well as past president and current member of the Charlotte Estate Planning Council.
He earned his A.B. Accounting degree, valedictorian, from Pfeiffer University and his M.B.A. and law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Lyerly and his wife, Sandy, live just south of Charlotte in Indian Trial. They have three adult children. Lyerly has been active in church, community and charitable affairs and has served as a coach and as a board member of youth athletic organizations in the Charlotte area[/private]
